Abstract
Metastasis from distant tumors are rare in nasal cavity, but case have been described in the literature of metastasis from e.g. mammary carcinoma (Ungerecht, 1950), carcinoma of the stoiriach (Hommerieh, 1954), seminoma (Garrett, 1960), and hypernephroma (Biendara, 1951).
Since the primary tumor: may lie, latent for many years, as in renal -cell carcinoma, it often remains undetected until symptoms from metastasis make their appearance.
Recently we experienced a case of metastatic renal cell carcinoma in the nasal cavity in a 70 years old male patient who was admitted because of massive nasal bleeding and was performed nephrectomy (left side) and followed cobalt irradiation. So we report this case with review of literatures.
